My Time to Craft Challenge

The challenge over at http://mytimetocraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ this week is 'Circles' here is my effort - I used a Rusty Pickle ' Smile' rub on a Bella stamped image and Daisy D's paper.

Cards

I haven't made many cards lately and fancied making some tonight so I got my Elizabeth Bell Sweet Ebony stamps out from Funky Kits and used one of those. They really remind me of a cute girlie image that was out in the 1980 s - can't for the life of me remember what she was called. I used Daisy D paper for the background and a Rusty Pickle 'sweet' rub on,Tim Holtz stamp round the edges and coloured her in with Copics.

GoGo Shoot layouts

Thought I should set to and do the layouts of a couple of the photos that Cheryl took at the GoGo retreat or I would never get them done. I used Daisy B's papers that were from a kit I got from http://craftystash.co.uk/catalog/index.php.

Beatrix Potter

When we went to the Lake District in April we paid a visit to the house of Beatrix Potter. I've wanted to scrap a black and white photo but wasn't quite sure on the colours and thanks to Carley http://www.blondewitchcreations.blogspot.com/ last night, I've come up with this. She suggested using a bright paper which I wouldn't have thought of and I reckon it works really well..so - thanks Carley, hope you like it !!

Weekend Layout

Here's a layout I did with a couple of Cheryl's photos from the GoGo weekend- I used American Crafts papers and a Sharpie poster paint pen in white, think I might be using that a lot as it's easy to use and really shows up well, and an ATC for the local craft shop ATC club swap, the theme was 'something for the men'. I used a variety of Tim Holtz ATC stamps with Adirondack Acrylics and a man's head stamp from the Artistic Stamper.

One is with the gorgeous Anna Griffin papers and the other is another GoGo sketch challengeusing Dream Street Paper, this time it's Helen's. I've also done another layout tonight of one of the photos I took when we went to the Lake District - the mirror image of the Lake was beautiful as we drove past- I think it was Thirlmere. I used Crate Paper Crush Collection, K & Co Sea Glass and Grungeboard letters and swirls on the Lakes one.

A few more Go Go pics

Here we are then, a couple more pics from the retreat - back to reality today, mind you, I really think I might take part in Shimelle's scrap your day on the 25th of each month- as long as I'm not too boring! One of the ladies I was talking to said she got the dentist to take a pic of her in the chair for hers !As they say, not many people think to take 'everyday life' photos and scrap them.Off to catch up on work now - much rather be scrappin :-)
